Global India Business Forum (GIBF) organized the BRICS+ Business Conclave 2026, at the Pride Hotel, Pune. The event took place on March 5-6, 2026. The autoclave was a huge success. Among the list of attendees were ambassadors, high commissioners, and diplomats from 15 countries including Nigeria, Russia, Malaysia and more. Along with such esteemed clientele, 300+ MSME business leaders from different sectors made their presence felt — making the event a highly successful one.
India played a vital role in the event, specially when it was held on Indian soil. The nation's position at BRICS was very well put out by GIBF Founder and Global President, Dr. Jitendra Joshi. Dr. Joshi emphasized that India's BRICS+ Presidency this year focuses on inclusive growth, resilient supply chains, digital public infrastructure, sustainable development and enhanced people-to-people and business-to-business relations among BRICS+ countries.
India’s potential when it comes to international growth was highlighted by the Chief Guest Mr. Abhay Firodia, Founder of Force Motors, Pune. He made it clear that India’s strength comes from MSMEs that are eventually being empowered to reach the pinnacle of success. Indian businesses are making their presence felt like never before.
We focused on Higher Education, Global Skills, and Future-Ready Workforce for BRICS+ Nations, held at Pune Institute of Business Management (PIBM). Day 1 was all about employment and education opportunities for aspiring students from the country in other BRICS countries and within India, for students from BRICS.
Day 2 prioritised presentations and panel discussions between countries. There were B2B & B2G meetings. Leaders from various MSMEs talked about trade opportunities between India and the world with diplomats.
